Risk & Liability Policy/Agreement

In consideration of participating in all on and off-ice physical activities at Granatier Sportsplex, I understand the nature

of these activities and that I am in good health and proper physical condition to participate in such activities.

I understand and acknowledge that participation may result in personal injury, including but not limited to injury to

bones, joints, ligaments, muscles, tendons, internal organs and other aspects of the skeletal system and In rare

occurrences death, complete or partial paralysis or brain damage.

In all activities, I understand the scope, nature and extent of the risks involved and voluntarily and freely assume all

such risks.

I hereby release, discharge, save harmless and indemnify the owner, instructors, the business, the organizers and/or

its agents from and against all claims, actions, costs and expenses and demands in respect to death, injury, loss or

damage to my person or property whatsoever and howsoever caused, arising out of or in connection with my

association with or entry in any activities. I further agree to hold harmless Granatier Sportsplex, the owners, the

instructors, facility members, the organizers and its agents from any and all actions, claims, demands, losses,

judgements or costs or any nature to any third party resulting from my association or entry in any program or activity.

I agree that this Release shall bind my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns.

Social Media & Media Release

I hereby grant Granatier Sportsplex the right to use, without payment of any fee or charge, any written information,

photograph, videotape or other visual media in any of Granatier Sportsplex publications and in all other media of

myself or my child taken during any activity, training, practice, game, community or social event for the purpose of

furthering the purpose of Granatier Sportsplex objectives.

Use of Social Media, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Blogging, YouTube and other online social media vehicles is

commonplace. In all use of social media that involves Granatier Sportsplex, we ask that you respect the law,

including those laws governing defamation, discrimination, harassment, copyright and fair use.

Booking/Refund Policy

Ice Bookings:

-All ice bookings are non refundable starting 30 days prior to your booked time. Ice times can be rebooked inside that 30 day window but no refund will be provided.

-If you need to cancel or rebook 24hrs or less before it’s start, your booking will not be refundable and no credit for a rebook will be applied.

-Ice bookings can be sold to a 3rd party at your discretion,  with notice to Granatier Sportsplex, to avoid cancellation or rebooking. This would be your responsibility as the booking party.

Private Sessions  On-Ice (Individual or team) with a Trainer:

-If a session needs to be cancelled or rebooked you must provide 14 days notice to receive a refund or a $100 administrative fee will be charged. If you need to cancel or rebook with 2 days or less notice, no refund or credit will be provided.

-Sessions can be sold to a 3rd party at your discretion, with notice to Granatier Sportsplex, to avoid cancellation or rebooking. This would be your responsibility as the booking party.

-If a participant sustains an injury or has an illness that prevents them from participating, they will be eligible for a credit, provided they are able to provide Granatier Sportsplex with signed documentation from a licensed medical professional.

Private Sessions Off-Ice with a Trainer:

-If a session needs to be cancelled or rebooked you must provide 14 days notice to receive a refund or a $50 administrative fee will be charged. If you need to cancel or rebook with 2 days or less notice, no refund or credit will be provided.

-Sessions can be sold to a 3rd party at your discretion, with notice to Granatier Sportsplex, to avoid cancellation or rebooking.  This would be your responsibility as the booking party.

-If a participant sustains an injury or has an illness that prevents them from participating, they will be eligible for a credit, provided they are able to provide Granatier Sportsplex with signed documentation from a licensed medical professional.

Granatier Skill Development Offerings:

-If you need to cancel/withdraw your registration in a Granatier skill development program, we require 14 days notice prior to the start date for you to receive a refund less a 20% administrative fee on the pre-tax amount.

-Any cancellation/withdrawal 7 days prior to the start date will result in no refund or credit being provided.

-No credit/refund will be provided for missed sessions.

-If a participant sustains an injury or has an illness that prevents them from participating, they will be eligible for a credit, provided they are able to provide Granatier Sportsplex with signed documentation from a licensed medical professional.

U5/U6 Program:

-If you need to cancel/withdraw your registration in our U5/U6 Program, we require 14 days notice prior to the start date for you to receive a refund less a 20% administrative fee on the pre-tax amount.

-Any cancellation/withdrawal within 14 days of the start date will result in no refund or credit being provided.

-No credit/refund will be provided for missed sessions.

-If a participant sustains an injury or has an illness that prevents them from participating, they will be eligible for a credit, provided they are able to provide Granatier Sportsplex with signed documentation from a licensed medical professional.
