Dawson Leedahl

Dawson was born in Saskatoon where he grew up playing many sports, but his main focus was always on hockey. Dawson played his minor hockey in Saskatoon where he progressed and then continued on to play for the Saskatoon Contacts, where they placed 3rd at the Telus Cup.  After his year with the Contacts, he went on to play in the WHL for the Everett Silvertips.  He played there for 4 years and served as Captain!  His final year in the WHL he was traded to the Regina Pats.  Dawson received the Unsung Hero Award for 3 consecutive years being recognized as a great teammate.  After his time in the WHL, Dawson was scouted and then signed to the New York Rangers on a 3 year contract where he split his playing time between their ECHL and AHL affiliates.
