Markus was born and raised in Warman, SK, where he developed his passion for hockey while playing through the Warman Wildcats program. A skilled forward with speed, creativity and a high hockey IQ, Markus played both AA and AAA minor hockey, before advancing to junior hockey in the KIJHL with the Revelstoke Grizzlies, Chase Heat and Castlegar Rebels. His experience competing at both the elite minor hockey and junior levels has helped shape his ability to teach the game and connect with players of all ages.

Now continuing his hockey journey, Markus brings a positive, high-energy approach to every session at Granatier Sportsplex. He specializes in skating treadmill training, shooting development, and on-ice private instruction, and is passionate about helping players build confidence and improve their skills.
