Our U5 Program (Athletes born 2021/22), sponsored by Al Andersons Source For Sports is the perfect beginning for aspiring players ready to start their hockey journey! Designed for absolute beginners, whether your kid can’t skate or has some fundamentals down, this comprehensive program offers a welcoming and supportive environment where newcomers can learn the fundamentals of the sport with confidence.

Due to increasing demand, We are pleased to be expanding our U5 Program from Saturdays to Sundays!

If your child is already registered in the Saturday Program and would prefer to be moved to Sundays, reach out to U5@gsplex.ca

Welcome to our U7 Hockey Development Program – the ultimate introduction to the world of hockey for our youngest players! Tailored specifically for children who will be playing U7 in fall 2025, this program is designed to ignite a lifelong love for the sport while nurturing essential skills and fostering a positive relationship with the game. Led by our team of enthusiastic and experienced coaches, our U7 Hockey Development offering focuses on creating a fun and engaging environment where your child, through a series of age-appropriate drills, games, and activities, develop the fundamental hockey skills needed to progress, all while building confidence and coordination on the ice.

Welcome to our U9 Hockey Development Program – the next step in your child’s hockey journey! Designed for young players who will be joining the U9 level in the fall of 2025, this program builds upon the foundation established in earlier years while continuing to foster a love for the game. Through a variety of age-appropriate drills, games, and challenges, players will continue to refine their skating, puck handling, shooting, and passing abilities, all while increasing their confidence.

Haga HD Mechanics – U11 Summer Camps

Jul 08 - Aug 28 • Camps run Tuesday to Thursday each week!

U11 Skating Development - Our U11 Skating & Skills camps are perfect for the athlete who is needing a firmer grasp on the most important skill you need to play the game of hockey; skating! The majority of the development time will be focused on getting their skating to the level needed to be considered proficient for their age. At this age interval that will include cleaning up stride mechanics, forwards & backwards, as well as more complicated edgework to give them total control over their feet on the ice, pucks will be included in the skating drills so game applicable skills are worked on. U11 Shooting & Passing - Our U11 Shooting & Passing development camps are perfect for the athlete who’s skating is adequate for the age group but struggles with the puck. The majority of the development time will be focused on working to get the players properly using their hands and stick to efficiently move the puck where it needs to go. This will include proper passing & shooting mechanics, puck handling while moving, game situational variations on shooting, as well as different types of shots.

Our pro camps are the total package! Where each athlete will have time on the skating treadmill, off-ice shooting area, dryland focused on pre game prep & post game recovery, & of course on ice development! These camps are fantastic for the athlete that has the fundamentals down and are looking to take their game to new heights! *ATHLETES SHOULD ARRIVE FOR 9:00am & BRING OFF ICE CLOTHING/RUNNING SHOES AS WELL AS A LUNCH*

Learn To Skate!

Aug 19 - Oct 21 • Sessions are run once week for 10 weeks! Starting Tuesday August 19th (10 Sessions in total)

Our learn to skate program is intended for kids who have either never stepped foot on the ice before or have been on before but have no real skills built up. The lessons will have a huge focus on fun and enjoying their time on the ice but also with the goal of having everyone skate independently by the end!
